Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Astrionix (“Astrionix”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our websites and products, including VOSS FM, AfroCineVerse, and the VOSS AI Receptionist (together, the “Services”). By using the Services you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, information generated as you use the Services, and information from third parties that help us operate. The categories are described in the sections below.

2. Account information

When you create or manage an account we may process your name, email address, organization, role, authentication credentials, and account preferences. We use this to provide access, secure the account, communicate with you about the Services, and maintain audit and support records. You may update or request deletion of your account information as described in Section 11.

3. User uploads & content

Some Services let you upload files, media, prompts, scripts, audio, images, and other materials (“User Uploads”). We process User Uploads solely to provide the requested functionality — for example rendering, editing, storage, playback, or delivery. You retain your rights in your User Uploads (see our Terms of Service). We do not sell your User Uploads. Do not upload content you do not have the right to use, or that contains sensitive personal data you are not authorized to share.

4. AI-generated content

Astrionix products create and process AI-generated content, including generated images, video, audio, voices, captions, and text. When you use these features:

• Your prompts, inputs, and selected assets are processed to generate outputs and to operate quality, safety, and identity-consistency checks.
• Generated media may be produced with third-party AI providers acting as our processors under contract; inputs are sent only as needed to fulfill your request.
• AI outputs can be imperfect or inaccurate. Outputs are provided for your review; a human operator approves and publishes anything that is released — nothing is auto-published.
• We do not use your private prompts or User Uploads to train foundation models without a lawful basis or your consent, and we do not sell them.

5. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies (local storage, session identifiers) to keep you signed in, remember preferences and layouts, secure the Services, and understand aggregate usage. We use:

• Strictly necessary cookies required for the site to function and stay secure.
• Preference cookies that remember settings such as theme and console layout.
• Analytics cookies (where enabled) that help us measure and improve performance.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect functionality.

6. Analytics

We collect analytics such as pages viewed, features used, device and browser type, approximate location derived from IP, and performance metrics. We use analytics to operate, secure, debug, and improve the Services. Analytics data is used in aggregate and is not sold. Where required, analytics that use cookies are enabled only with an appropriate legal basis or your consent.

7. Product-specific processing

VOSS FM. Our AI broadcast operator tools process broadcast configuration, content queues, approval decisions, asset readiness, and operational telemetry. Publishing and go-live are human-operated; the Service does not publish or stream automatically.

AfroCineVerse. Our cinematic production tools process scripts, prompts, generated media, and production metadata to create and review episodes and related deliverables. Review packages may be shared privately via unlisted links you control.

VOSS AI Receptionist. Our front-desk AI processes interaction data such as messages, call or booking details, contact information provided by end users, and configuration you set. If you deploy the Receptionist to interact with your own customers, you are the controller of that end-user data and are responsible for providing appropriate notices and obtaining any required consents; we act as your processor.

8. How we use information

• Provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Services.
• Authenticate users and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
• Generate, review, and deliver content you request.
• Respond to support requests and communicate service and legal notices.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

9. How we share information

We share information only as needed: with service providers and AI processors who act on our behalf under contract; to comply with law, legal process, or lawful requests; to protect the rights, safety, and security of Astrionix, our users, and the public; and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer (with notice where required). We do not sell your personal information.

10. Data retention

We retain information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, to provide the Services, and to meet legal, accounting, or security requirements. Retention periods vary by data type — for example, account records are kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward; operational logs and analytics are typically retained for a limited window; User Uploads and generated media are retained while associated with your workspace and deleted or anonymized on request or after account closure, subject to backups that expire on a rolling basis. When data is no longer needed we delete or de-identify it.

11. Your rights & choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your personal information, and to object to or withdraw consent for certain processing. To exercise a right, contact us using Section 16. You may also manage cookies in your browser and update account settings within the Services. We will respond consistent with applicable law.

12. Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and least-privilege practices. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the age required by your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate action.

14. International transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate. Your continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
